About the alliance

The South Fraser Healthcare Alliance (SFHA) is a joint initiative of the Boards of Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation, Langley Community Health & Hospital Foundation, and Peace Arch Hospital + Community Health Foundation. Together, we are a unified voice advocating for greater awareness of the healthcare capacity and funding challenges facing one of British Columbia’s fastest-growing regions.
The communities of Delta, Langley, South Surrey, and White Rock are growing at a tremendous pace, yet healthcare funding and capacity have not kept up with the needs of our residents. Our region continues to receive an inequitable share of healthcare investment compared with other communities in Fraser Health and across the Lower Mainland.
Through the SFHA, our three Foundations are working together to raise awareness, build understanding, and advocate for a fair and equitable distribution of British Columbia’s healthcare resources so that the people who live in our communities have access to the care they need, close to home.
